Stomach, Ulcers, Gastric Bypass, Colon Disorders Answer A462
Pain in the lower right side of your back could be one of several possible gastrointestinal, billiary or renal disorders. You can first visit a GP (General Practitioner) for a physical examination. Blood analyses (Er, Ly, Tr, Hgb, sedimentation, liver status, urea, creatinin) may be performed. An ultrasound is also most likely necessary to exclude gall stones, kidney stones, or possible liver conditions. An endoscopic gastroscopy and Helicobacter pillory-serology may also be necessary to exclude gastritis, peptic ulcer, duodenitis, tumors… This doesn’t necessarily mean that all these procedures must be done... but they are the appropriate diagnostic steps.
