I went looking because people were asking and this is what I found...


What “pap” stands for
pap is not an acronym. It's short for papanicolaou, the name of the doctor who invented the test. His description of the procedure was first published in 1941. After years of research and verification, the test came into general use in the 1950s.

Lol I no what u mean about not having ne thing better to do I must check the forum 5 times a day to entertain me and for the record I dont like dr papanicolaou and of course it would b a man to invent such a test
