Q: Something Weird

I have not yet been diagnosed, other than that I have something 'neurological'. I hope it's ok to post here, I thought maybe somebody could help with my query

for several months, on and off, I have been getting a buzzing sensation in my spine, particularly when I lower my head forwards. (i understand this is a symptom which can occur with ms.) out of the blue today the sensation has moved, now it is happening in my right groin, through my bladder, and into my upper right thigh. I've also been needing to pee a lot more often (something which I have had quite a lot before).
Does any of this mean anything to anyone??

(for info, my symptoms started almost a year ago. When I first saw a neurologist in september 2005 I had three significant symptoms to discuss with him. I am scheduled to see him again march 1st and I now have a list of 23. Some frequent, some rare. My mri (brain) was clear.)

Hi there! Have you had a spinal tap? Their are a lot of immune and neurologic situations out there that mimic ms. It took a friend of mine 13 mri's to find out that she had ms as it rests so much, their are other tests your neuro can give you that can come closer to diagnosing you with ms altohough they are not 100%. I am not a dr but I have been through this, hopefully someone else can give you more and better infomation than I have. Even though a lot of my tests mainly mri's) keep showing up neg., for ms my dr still feels I have it but other diagnoses are ddd, djd, rsd, fibromyalgia, ebv (mono)which has been treated, pn, copd, cfs, and a few other things, I try not to dwell on them, I just go on and try to do the best that I can. I am tired of making the medical field rich and not getting any answers or a cure. I was given a wheel chair but I am not ready for that but I do have a sit down walker and a sit down scooter.
Good luck to you, I do hope you find out something!
Let us know what you find out, my thoughts and prayers are with you!

Thanks so much for your reply. No, I haven't had a spinal tap. Can that diagnose ms? Or other neurological disorders, or both?
From what I have read, I gather that without significant 'episodes' and lesions i'm unlikely to get a diagnosis of ms. Don't get me wrong, i'm not wishing it on myself, but if this is where all of this is heading i'd rather know about it now than 2 or 3 years down the line.
