Q: Why Havent I Had a Period In Months

Yea I was just wondering 2-3 months at a time I dont have a period..Im not active sexually and im not exactly the thinnest thing..Ive heard that being over weight can stop you from menstrating is this true or is it something else?

Being overweight can cause your cycle to stop, just as much as being underweight can (but for different reasons). You should go to your doctor to get it checked out.

Having your period stop is called secondary amenorrhea. There are lots of causes for it. If you Google it, plenty of pages will come up that describe what it is and a list of causes-- some are more serious than others. Whatever the case you should definitely go to a doctor.
