I am 16 and planning to go to prom this year because next year we will have the baby and wont have much money. I will be 8 moths when prom comes, actually about 7 and a half but does anybodyknow where I could get a maternity prom dress or a cute maternity dress that would look good for prom or do you think I should just forget about going? Need some help and advice. Thanks!
Melissa

My cousin was about 7 months pregnant when she went to prom. She bought a normal prom dress that fit her fine. The one thing that she did do was buy a dress that had the stitching done to fit right under the boobs (not at the waist) she looked just fine with her belly!

If you have a thyme maternity or some kind of maternity store near where you live you can check there...But they can get fairly expensive, however sometimes they have nice sales, it's worth keeping an eye out on.

Thanks
Thanks everybody for your input on what I could do, I was thinking of a dress that has the stitching right under the breasts and thought that would work and I have an aunt that was in a wedding over the summer and it has the stitching right under the breasts and she was alittle chubbier so im hoping hers will fit and so I can use it. Thanks everybody again!

The money for prom will not come from me or my boyfriend. My mom asked if I wanted a class ring and I told her she can help us pay for prom instead cause I didnt want a ring and she thought that was a good idea so its not like its coming out of our poket all together, besides its a once in a life time oppurtunity and even if my mom wasnt going to help my grandma would its just the way my family is.

How About...
Try a pea in the pod, the last time I went I saw some really nice dresses that would work for prom. But I wouldent recomend buying anything until a week or two before the prom. You don't want to buy it early, and your belly to be to big to fit into it. Lol.

Good luck :d
