Hi I am roxie I am 16 years old and I live in dull boring england. Me and my bf had a mistake about 12 weeks ago, well we had unprotected sex (due to drinking) anyways, I found out that I was pregnant about 8 weeks ago. I haven't yet told me parents but ma bf knows. I wanted to keep the baby. So my doctor booked me an ultra sound at 12 weeks. I told my mum that I was going out with dom on to hang around with some mates. So when I got to the centre I lay on the table like the woman asked. She placed the cold jelly stuff on my belly as, the picture came up on the screen we could see a baby, but behind that seemed to be another, the nusre confirmed that I was going to have twins (omg   )
my bf's face just dropped with surprise. We are both very happy about the news. The only problem is that I cannot afford to have 2 babbies, I can only have one. I just don't know what to do. I want them both dearly, and I don't know wat to say to my parents and ma bf'sparents :?: :?:

You're lucky to be in england, I am too. You'll manage easier because healthcare is free, the council will give u a flat or house to live in, you'll get income support benefits just over 100 pounds a week, plus child benefit of around 140 pounds a month, you dont have to pay any rent just the weekly water rates which is under 10 pounds a week depending on which area you live in. You dont have to get a job if you dont want to before they start school at 4yrs old. So financially you can do it here so much easier than in the usa. If you've got the help and support of your boyfriend and family too, then you should be okay :)

I totally understand the drinking baby thats what my second one is. Dont worry im sure u can do it. Double the baby doesnt necessarily mean double the cost. U can get enough clothes 4 one and just do laundry enough for them to share and breastfeed or pump so u dont have to buy formula. Diapers are the only issue but u could always use cloth ones if you are that tight w/ money. Dont worry it will all work out for the best. And personally im jealous I would love to have multiples. As for blood u dont have to look when they take your blood and if u have a c-section which is prob likely w/ 2 in there but I had one and I never saw ne of the blood except when u have bleeding but that like a period and since u already get those... Good luck and congrats

Don't fret, roxie. I'm fifteen and twenty four weeks with twins. I don't even have parents, and i'm going to keep my twins. However, before I made the extremely difficult decision, I had to consider whether I was emotionally and financially ready. And, I decided I was. You need to think about the same things. It doesn't matter how much you love the babies, if you really love them, you have to think about what's best for them.

Thanks

i have just got a job so I can afford it, I told my bf's mum this morning, she is dead mad, she wants me to get rid of them, but me and ma bf don't want to
I am due for a scan soon again, I also told my mum, she isn't happy but she said that it was up to me and ma bf, if we kept them (which I am) we (me and ma bf) have to pay for every thing

Yeah good for u, dont get an abortion just to please someone even if she is a relative, you'll end up regretting it and it will be too late to change your mind. My gran wanted me to get an abortion too and I just try to avoid her as much as possible. Once she sees the baby im sure she'll be happy.

Apparently after the baby / babies are born you forget about all of the pain and just become really happy about wat you have done

Cus I am in england, if u have a baby (at 16 - 19) you can apply for a council house/flat. You only have to pay a tiny rent (about £20 a month!!!) and then they sort other things out

its dead cool. But I don't want to leave my family, and a stud farm is no safe place for to babies

one is a girl they think, the other keeps hiding. I would lik to call her mia
