Update On My Surgery Posted: 02-10-06 17:52pm
I see the surgeon on tuesday of next week
for my 6-8 week check up hopefully it will
go better then it did for my two week
check-up because the surgeon wasn't even
there I seen his assistant. When I fell
after my surgery I called and I didn't
hear back for four days by then I had
already went to my family doctor who
checked me out and said everything
appeared ok. So hopefully with x-rays in
hand I will be able to see the surgeon.
I have done pretty well my pinky on my
left hand is totally numb post surgery and
so is my thigh on the left leg. I am
anxious to see if this is permanant. I
still have some pain in my legs but it
isn't as bad as it was. I know the
surgeon is going to want to talk to me
about the next surgery and I am more
scared about the back surgery then about
the cervical spine surgery I had done.
Anyway I hadn't posted in awhile wanted to
give you guys an update

Well at this point it seems like you are
going to eventually make a decent recovery
but it also seems it is going to take a
long time to realise the effects of the
surgery and how it will affect your
life.
I am really hoping you respond after the
next surgery and things start to really
kick it in overdrive.

Buttons,
i wish every success during your recovery.
I know it is hard, and you have days
when you wonder when will it all be over.
Hang in there and work at your recovery.
Btw I would be extremely pi$$ed if my
doctor hadn't seen me for my checkup and
waited four days to call me back. I
would definitely let him or her how
dissatisified you are up to this point.
To me it is his responsibility to assist
in your recovery and not just shuffle you
along to his assistant after the surgery.
