U jewel cuz u got 2 in there I no its possible but thats gotta b hard to do. I personally nursed my daughter for 5 months and I plan on doing the same for this baby its so cheap and easy but it makes some ppl uncomfortable. U could call me one of those mommies that doesnt care and whips it out ne where with a blanket of course. Its totally natural I mean come on thats what they are there for right? Ok j/w what yalls opinions on it are.

I'll probably pump too, dani. Then after about six months or so, i'll switch to formula. I know that jasie's going to nurse, though. I just think it'll be easier for me if i'd pump. I would love to nurse though. :)

Im planning on breastfeeding totally for the first 4 months, then once he starts being weaned onto baby foods im going to be giving him formula milk before I put him down at night, because it fills them more so hopefully he'll sleep longer so I can too! And as long as you have a blanket or jacket on to sort of try hide yourself if you do it at the mall or doctors or some place, then I dont see a problem with breastfeeding. Its a fact that its healthier for the baby as it has the correct quantities of all the nutrients the baby needs, helps prevent breast cancer in the mother, it gives them the mother's anti bodies so they get a lot less colds etc, plus its at the right temperature all the time, and its there whenever the baby needs it, they get less wind, helps you both bond more, its free, easy...No bottles to wash and sterlize! Lol thats the main reason haha....But yea seriously it seems better all round, unless you have to work and be away from the baby all day or something. In that case i'd use a pump, but i've been told it takes ages and ages to get any milk out using a pump, and even then u dont get very much....So im not bothering with a pump. I want to breastfeed until hes 12 months old. Unless its too painful when his teeth start coming through then i'll stop earlier if I really have to.

Totally agree my aunt is still breast feeding her second kid and he will b 2 in may. I think when the kid can tell u he wants the boob thats to old. She breastfed her 1st til he was 3 and 1/2 and only stopped to have the second one so shell probably wean him when hes like 12! Lol as for filling their belly up thats a total old-wives tale. I breastfeed for 5 months with no formula suppliment (she did get baby food thru a feeder bottle cuz the spoon thing is just to messy) and after like the first 8 weeks she slept from 10-5 and the after I fed her shed sleep til like 9. Breastfeeding is great especially if the baby is sleeping in your bed cuz all ya do is lay on your side with your boob out and they do the rest. (or my daughter did ne way watch this kid b to stubborn to do it that way)

Lol yeah im going to put him in the bed with me for the first year. Like have him layed on his side and me on mine to feed during the night. But after feeding, im going to have a rolled up blanket or 2 inbetween us, so I dont roll on him or get too close when we're sleeping and suffocate him. Burp him sitting in bed with him sort of over my shoulder. Still have to get up to change his diaper though damn lol, how often should a newborn need changing during the night? Anyone know?
I have my bed against the wall on one side, so if hes that side he cant fall out the bed, and on the other side ive got one of those bed guards u can get for toddlers beds from a baby store, so when hes on that side he wont fall out either. Because obviously with breastfeeding you have to lay the baby on both sides for each boob lol.....Bed guard yea im not taking any chances of him falling off the bed, i'd feel so guilty if that happened :/

You dont have to get out of bed to change him just leave the diapers and wipes right next 2 u on a table or somthing I had a wipe warmer with a lil light on it and id change her in bed and just throw the diaper on the floor til morning (wrapped up of course) I think I only changed her like once but I bought the expensive diapers so she wouldnt leak unless it was poo then I changed it of course. My daughter slept w/ us til we moved when she was 5 mnoths and she got her own room but then at like 10 months she started teething and now she sleeps w/ us every night. But I like knowing shes safe and shes a great cuddler

Well eventhough I am not pregnant...But I have a 6 month old...I breastfed him for the first 2/3 months ...And then I started him on formula.. I wish I would have never stopped breastfeeding ...It was so simple in the middle of the night to just whip it out and sleep while he was eating..I never had to burp him or worry about him spitting up ...And it didnt cost a thing...Now that he drinks formula ..Its a hassle its expensive/he spits up...And all that wonderful crap..Lol so to all the new mommies...Consider breast feeding ..Its great ..

As for pumping..It killed me doing that ..My milk wouldnt come out for crap..And I bought expensive pumps..That never worked good..Waste of time and money..If you ask me..

when I first had my son he pooped 2 or 3 times a night ...When I was breastfeeding him..It was very messy ...Like bright yellow color..It stained everything it came in contact with..So if you do let him/her sleep with you make sure they arent on anything expensive..I made that mistake..
but the doctor told me while breastfeeding that newborns can poop many times and its alright ...And as for the color it changes as they get older...Now his is very dark green...So it wont be that same color for long..Lol and if you are having a boy..Good luck with diapers...I couldnt find any kind of diaper that my little one wouldnt pee out of ...I dont know if it was because I couldnt place his little pee pee in the right direction or what..But he would always pee up his outfits and I would have to change them throughout the night...

I really want to breastfeed, you know, one on each breast in the middle of the night. :) I don't know. I'll have to ask my doctor. I really don't want to bother with the pump...And it'd be less complicated to just whip it out in the middle of the night, like jillian said, instead of having to warm up formula and stuff. It's not like I can just scoop them both up and take them with me to get the bottle ready...So i'd hope that they wouldn't both wake up....Because then i'd have to leave one or both of them in their crib, or else balance them in one arm while I use the other one to get the bottles ready...Then they'll wake up the rest of the house, lol...Man, i'd rather just nurse them. I'm going to pray that the doctor advises it, now that this formula nightmare described above is on the table, lol!
Picture me in the rocking chair with a twin in each arm, how do I stick the bottles in their mouth? Balance them? Ahhh, this is going to make me sleepless! :)

In my mommy book they have diagrams of someone breastfeeding twins so it cant be that hard. U need a boppy tho they are great not only for feeding but to prop the babies in so they can be better positioned for all the pics u have to take thats what idid with macy alot plus its more fun than laying down flat all the time she was able to interact with her toys more

i wonder what the chances of them wanting to eat at the same time of night are. If u do bottle feed I saw on a show the dad had them laying in their side by side doubl stroller holding their bottles

I'm planning on breastfeeding. I am lucky enough that with my school I can bring baby and the daycare centre calls you in from your classes when baby needs you, so I can continue to breast feed. I don't plan on using formula, eventually I will pump and then intigrate baby food (not from jars, my mom is making everything fresh) so it should be good :) I am very excited. I've heard such wonderful things about breatfeeding I can't wait to try it out!

Plus the kind I ahve doubles as a diaper rash cream and it even says u can use it on minor cuts or bruises to help them heal I guess a better name for it would be miracle cream
