Back Pain Forum - Upper Back/neck Pain Please Help

For about 2 and a half weeks now ive had a terrible sharp pain in my upper back and when I bend my neck down and up it hurts really bad. I went to a chiropractor once to get adjusted but ive heard that youll have to keep going back, so I stopped. Now when I move my back I here a lot of cracking, is this bad? What should I do about getting rid of the pain? Thanks for the help
