I am still trying to find out if I am pg, or having side effects from bc, ( it is still to soon for a test I think) so I have been posting in the bc forum, but this question felt more fitting in this forum. I know a lot of you have stated that u got veins across your chest and through the nipples, but does evey one normally have visible veins in their chest even if they arent pg?? How do you tell when they are signs of pg if u can usually see veins in ur chest and in ur nipples? I have been studying mine a lot lately, lol, for these changes, but I noticed I have a vein going around half my right nipple, and I don't know if that was always there, does anyone else have this? I also know most people report that their montgomery glands (little bumps on nipples) have become more in number and in size. But I have always had a lot and they are always above my skin, like brail dots. So again how do u preseve breast changes when I already have a lot of there signs normally??
I have been having many other pg sxs but again I don't know if it because I am pg or from the bc. Because of the bc I did't have a period for 3 months, and I went to the Dr. And I was not pg but do have adenomyosis, but then january 16th I finally got my period, but a verry light one, and since then I have been feeling crappy and crampy and all the other normal signs of pg, or side effects from the pill.
I should be getting my period next week if all goes normal, but I am just so confused and I feel like crap. If you guys need to m=know my other sxs just ask and I will tell, I just don't want to make this post any longer than it is... Thanks, kellyj.

I wanted to clairify about the montgomery glands.. I have them on my areolas not the nipple.. Except I have now noticed then on my left nipple only and not on my right. Why is this?? Is having them on the actual nipple a sure sign of being pg or not??
Also the vein I said is around the nipple I also ment my areola. Such little details but they mean a differnce when deciding. Kelly j.

I have veins showing on my chest all the time, I think one even goes through the nipple too, guess it can depend on your skin color also, im rather white so my veins show through more, someone with darker skin probably wont notice them as much. Most likely it seems youve probably always had the veins showing, and your just over analizing them now. I wouldnt get to worked up over it, I dont think its something to go crazy over to try to predict if your pregnant or not, just wait it out, in fact ive never heard of the whole vein things as a sign of pregnancy, interesting  but just relax, and it does seem like the bc is giving you a hard time, so it is probably making you feel not so good. Is your doctor sure your on the right one? I never had any problems on my bc, no side effects or anything. So seems if you are having problems with it, he should maybe change it? Well hope all goes well, and take care!

Thanks, and I think I am over analyzing almost every sxs I am having, but at this point I cant help it they are soo strong. I was on bc since I was 14 and never had a problem, then I went off it for a bit and back on it same brand and everything and it has made me sick since I started it. My Dr. Is changing me from necon 135 to ortho novum 135, which is the same med just different name so after my period next week,if I get it, I will be changing to see if it helps. But I am going crazy in the mean time.
I have olive skin, so I am not pale but I can see veins verry well on various body parts, but it just seems they are standing out to me more now because I am aware of them, even the ones on my legs seem more blue!! Oh well, thanks for the insite and it has helpd a little to ground me for the mean time.

Hey there, sorry I have been mia. I have been on a hormonal rollercoaster.. I am not preggy  but I was having trouble with the combo pill, so I was switched to the progestin pill to help with my adenomyosis (which is why I was on the combo pill) and I had trouble with that too, so today is my second day without any hormones, and we will see what happens with my cycles.. Dh and I want to start a family in the near future so I would like to stay off hormones if I can, but the last time I tried that I was in soooo much pain and bleeding soo heavily that I am scared to see what happend when I get my next period. Anyway, thanks for checkin up on me, I appreciate it. Kelly.
