Q: Back Lumps?

I have some "lumps" in my lower back. They are very tender and feel swollen most of the time. They have been there for awhile, but recently I have had alot of problems sitting or standing in certains positions. One feels very close to my spine. This is the most painful. I recently had an mri that came back clear. I feel I am back to square one. Does anyone have any insight as to what is going on?

I am dealing with same problem last few years after a herniated disc. Finally found diagnosis( on my own). Look up definition for episacral lipomas. Also have had mri's and are normal but you can feel the lumps.
