*sniff* in a few more weeks i'm into third. When does the third trimester officially begin anyway? I get so confused because it seems like every book says something different. I'm at 24 weeks now. So do I have 1 week left in this trimester or do I have 3? I've seen books that say it starts w/week 25 and ones that say week 27? Hmm.... :?

I've always read between 27/28 weeks....If I read right..Each trimester is a total of 13/14 weeks...

All I know is that people keep telling me i'm only 5 months because i'm not due until the 1st week of may....I try to explain that I am 29 weeks and that actually adds up to the 1st week of my 8th month. These people do not want to understand that a pregnancy is actually 40 weeks which accumulates to 10 months..Not 9 like everyone would hope!! Lol....The crazy thing is..They have kids!!! Lol

if you're 24 weeks today than you are in the last week of your 6th month!! Once you hit 25 weeks you are officially 7 months!! I only have 11 weeks left..Which is insane to imagine!!!! It seems like yesterday when I was 11 weeks preggy!!!! I'm gonna caca a brick when I hit like 32 weeks!!

Good luck girl!!

Yes, time goes by fast! Enjoy the sleep while you can, pretty soon you will be miserable and uncomfortable and then it is time to have the baby and then time really flies.
Enjoy it the best you can!

Congrats to you all!

I hope you have a good, safe, easy delivery and that the baby is healthy and happy!

They are right. Enjoy the 2nd trimester. Treasure it. It is the time where you can just sit back and enjoy feeling your little one move around freely. You have a bit more energy, and are able to sleep for longer periods of time without interruption.

I am about 31 weeks, and the changes I have seen the past month are incredible. My stomach is huge now. In my last ultrasound on dec 16th the baby weighed 1 pound 3 ounces. According to the ultrasound feb. 3rd she now weighs 3 pounds 10 ounces, give or take 10 ounces. That would explain why my middle ballooned, and why her movements sometimes actually cause me mild discomfort/pain. She is running out of room in there! I am just starting to reach the uncomfortable point, and a good night's sleep is a thing of the past.
