Hi all. I'm new to this so i'm sorry if I didn't post this in the right spot or anything...
But I don't know where else to go or who to talk to..

I think I could be pregnant but i'm not sure..

I'm 18 and I started using the ortho evra patch july of 05. I've been with my boyfriend for over 2 years now and since I got on the patch we've had unprotected sex. In fact, we don't use condoms at all anymore.. But on my off week I start my period on the wednesday of that week. And it normally happens as soon as I wake up. I think I may be paraniod and stressing out over this..

Last night (tuesday) we had unprotected sex. I'm on my off week r ight now, and I figured i'd just start my period the next morning, but so far (now close to 3 in the afternoon) nothing. Not even cramps. I had cramps a couple days ago, which sometimes happens, but today there was nothing. No sign of my period at all. Does this mean i'm pregnant?

I'd appreciate any help.. And also should I go to planned parenthood or something and get the emergency contraceptive pill? Or will that not work?

Why don't you go get a home pregnancy test? Your period is late so you can take it now and it will put your mind at ease. I recommend first response.

Hey:

if you have been using the patch exactly as it tells you and it hasn't fallen off, been removed, etc... The chances that you are pregnant are slim. Chances are that you are stressing a little... But that is normal especially if you don't want to have a baby. Sometimes you will miss periods even when on a form of birth control. I would wait a day or so and if you still haven't gotten your period, I would get a pregnancy test... You can buy one at the store for about $10... They're super easy. Until then, try not to stress out! Sometimes our cycles have a mind of their own! If you do want to use emergency contraception, I believe you can do so for 72 hours after you have sex, so you still have some time. Best wishes..

The only way to know is to take a test. But I would wait a few weeks.
