Vasectomy Problem
Posted: 02-08-06 07:12am

Hi,

i had a vasectomy four weeks ago. I now have a large hard lump above the left testicle which seems to be on the 'vas deferens' or part of it. The vas deferens itself seems to be swollen and hard. The lump is painful to touch and gets in the way where natural movement is concerned; sitting down, putting on my shoes etc. I mentioned this problem to the nurse at my week after check up, he said that I wasn't to worry about it and that it will go away, nearly five weeks later it is still there.
Before I go back I would like your opinion so that I can discuss the problem with them.

Thanks

I had my vasectomy two weeks ago and have a large lump on the right side. My Dr. Told me he thinks that I had a small clot. Size of a grape. It becomes scar tissue. He said to message it lightly each morning to break down the scar tissue. This may take a few months in all.
