I've been under investigation for several months for many varied symptoms. Ms was suggested briefly as a possibility but following a normal mri brain scan it has been discarded.
My symptoms are as follows:

· partial loss of sensation, all over but especially in hands, face, feet and lower legs

· tingling and pins and needles in hands, arms, legs and feet.

· "buzzing" in lower spine

· over sensitivity to noise & touch

· depression & anxiety

· slurred speech and use of wrong words

· very vivid dreams

· chest pains

· swollen neck glands

· increasing, sometimes debilitating fatigue

· difficulty recovering breath after minor exertion

· weakness and shaking when tired

· pains in legs

· forgetfulness, confusion, disorientation

· headaches

· dizziness, light-headedness

· irritability

· tearfulness

· disturbed sleep

· pain in hips joints at night, which radiates down outside of legs, bad enough to keep me awake (particularly left side) (sciatica?)

· nausea

· periods have stopped for 3 months (always regular before despite pcos)

· time passing I can't account for

does this ring any bells with anyone?? I am seeing my specialist again but I don't know when and my gp seems at a loss.

Your symptoms sound similar to those of ms symptoms, especially the pins and needles feeling. The only way to know if to go to a neurologist and get a few tests done.
