Anyone else have a babyshower yet? No, i'm not preg. But I planned one for my best friend a lil bit ago

what did you get at your babyshower(s)? Um...She got lots of newborn clothing, receiving blankets, blankies, stuffed toys, a thing for bathing the baby, some soothing sounds cd's, a mobile, lots of pictureframes/albums, a baby chair thingy (like for when they can hold themsleves up, but are still very wobbly..) um...I think thats about it..

What was your fav. Things that you got? I think her fav. Thing was the mobile she got-it was a precious moments one and soo cute..The clothing was also so cute!

Did you have any guys there ? Ya, her brothers and a few of her g/fs brought there hubbys/bfs---they didnt have to stay w/ the girls tho, I think they watched football downstairs most the time--excpet when to food came out lol

how long was your babyshower? It was from 11 and we had lunch and then opened gifts..And by then it was like 2:30..And some ppl left but lots of people stayed until ike 5...And two couple stayed for dinner (b/c they were from out of town so she wanted to spend lots of time w/ them since she hardly see them)

do you know if your having a girl or a boy? She knew she was having a girl

At my baby shower I had friends and family ( I know what u mean about family being embarassing) but it was all girls cuz my husband is in the navy and he couldnt be ther otherwise he and his friends would have been there. Look online for games they had a lot that included guys and girls my shower was from 1-4 we had snacks like fruit trays and chips and what not and cake and I got lots of stuff. My favorite was the stroller I picked out and my granny bought. Im 18 and pregant with my second but cuz my husband is stationed in va we dont have ne family or friends up here for this one. My first one was a girl and I knew b4 the party so my cakes were 2 pink baby carriages. (i couldnt decide if I wanted chocolate or white cake so I just got both) we played one wher everyone rips a long peice of streamer off a roll and whoever comes the closest to the circumference of teh mommys belly wins. I cant remember ne others tho that was 2 years ago

I'm not going to have my baby shower until 3 weeks before my due date...Maybe 2.

I hope I get everthing I need..So far the donations I have gotten have been wonderful!! Everything is brand new because they are only needed for a couple of months...I am not afraid of hand me downs yall....Lol

One of the baby showers that I helped to plan was for one of my cousins and we had men there.

It was in the summer so we had it outside (bbq for the men)
the girlie food the women.
We decorated my backyard (i have a pretty nice backyard as it is)
we played games that involved men and women
everyone had a great time.
She had tons of gifts

i am 29weeks pregnant right now and I am having my baby shower next month. My mom is planning this one so I don't know much about it.

Im happy to here that im not tha first one to have guys at their party my mom was makin a big deal out of it bc im invitin all my friends includin tha guys but thats bc im very close wit my bro and he wants to be there and all his friends are like my brothers so I was like mite as well have evryone there it'll prolly be more fun but yea im 16, 27 weeks preggo and I havent had my baby shower yet but its gonna be hopefully in tha beginning of march ( my baby its due until may 13th ) and im havin a boy!

Your babies arent due til may u ahve time plus who wouldnt want free stuff? Its less u have to buy and if u get a baby registry u get stuff u want
