Post Hip Replacement And Kayaking Posted: 02-07-06 19:21pm
Had ceramic, anterior, min. Incision
surgery. Any one kayaking after hip
replacement when healed? Any problem
rolling kayak? Not caring to do any hard
whitewater, just play in the water, easy
rivers, bays, lakes, occassionaly roll
boat. Thanks

Sorry, but I don't know. But would love
to know. Please, if you find the answer
out elsewhere, would you post it here as
well? Just had a ceramic, and kayaking
is on the list of things that i'd really
like to do. Thanks.

I'd like to find out about kayaking after
thr, especially, double thr. I'm
scheduled for the first surgery on april

be greatly appreciated. I really do not
want to give up kayaking. So you can
e-mail me at acarazo@gm

Kayaking Info Posted: 03-13-06 09:55am
Hi all,
you can read posts from other "hippies"
(thr patients) about kayaking post-thr on
the web site "totally hip". It is a
support group for thr people. There is a
message board on there with some really
great people. I believe the main page is
totallyhip.Org. Anyway, I coppied the
web address from the message board, it is
http://disc.Server.Com/
indices/8340.Html
this is really a great site to gather
information and opinions.
