Hi:

my girlfriend was diagnosed with sm about eight years ago , the fact is in these last eight years she had only suffered a ligth sense outbreak, with the only after-effects not feeling the left foot properly. In the four last months he has suffered other two sense outbreaks ( the first only last four days and she did not need steroids , however the second outbreaks is still causing symptoms, as she has itching sensation in her left foot ,and he cannot walk properly due to this sense alteration. These problems are occuring in the last three weeks and eventhough the neurologist prescribed her steroids during four days , there are no effective results in her foot sensation. So , my question is ,
is it possible , attending to your experience , that this sensation is an after-effects of this last outbreak , or on the contrary she has to wait for a remition of her symptoms ? . Other people whom I have asked for this problem , told me that the sense outbreaks are not the worst problems in this disease, and the symptoms disappear in somw days , weeks or months in some cases.

What is your opinion about?.

My apologies for my english , but I am spanish.

Thanks.

Cheers,

joaquin carjamu.
