Please advise what effect the beta blocker atelonol will have on my cardio training & is it safe to come off it while I am in the initial phases of trying to get fit? I take it for mild hypertension.

When taking Beta Blockers as for hypertension, its use is to block the binding of catecholamine and the beta one receptor of our heart, thus preventing to rise our blood pressure.

As for Atenolol, I just don't know how it affects a person having a high blood pressure and i also don't know its side effects.
