Are These Symptoms of Pregnancy? Posted: 02-06-06 12:21pm
About two weeks ago I had a period that
only lasted 2 1/2 days. I had sex a few
days later with my husband and then a few
days after that I started feeling a little
sick to my stomach and had heartburn. Now
I still feel sick to my stomach and I feel
like I have a flu or something. I also
started heavily spotting bright red today.
I am on the pill and my husband pulls out
which is what we have been doing for three
years, but I know that there is always a
possiblity of being pregnant. I was just
wondering how much of a possibility it is
to be pregnant with these type of
symptoms.

If you are taking birth control pills
regularly, there is only a very small
chance that you will get pregnant. The
chances are even smaller if your husband
is ejaculating outside of the vagina. You
can yake a home pregnancy test to confirm
or deny a possible pregnancy. Spotting is
not a sign of pregnancy. It could be sign
of an organic (tumors, infections) or
functional disorder of the genital organs.
You can go immediately to your
gynecologist to be examined.
