I am on bc and this cycle I am noticing more clear liquidy discharge and it started about 1 week ago, two weeks b4 my period is due, and this week, 1 week till my period, I am still having a bit of this liquid and it has actually been getting my undies verry wet. So my question is, is this normal to happen on bc? I have been on bc for 10 yrs, but I stopped for a while last yr for other medical reasons, and I do get this wettness b4 my period, but this time it started sooner and more of it. Does anyone else have this happen? I also notice now that my nipples tingle and hurt b4 my period and I also get nauseaus at the same time everynight. I have been tricked into thinking I was pregnant b4, so I am doubting this is pg symptoms, and I only had sex 2times since january ( I know it only takes once, lol) but I have never gotten pregnant after all of these yrs... Anyway, sorry for the rambling. Any ideas?? Thanks, kelly.

Another Newer Symptom
I also noticed these past 2 weeks I have had an increase in my saliva. Is this also common with bc pills? I have never noticed this in my past yrs with the pill. I have been telling my mother all my sxs and she is like, you have all the symptoms of pg, but we know I am not pg, well I will be sure after next week, but with my track record I doubt I am. But I am just wondering if anyone else gets this symptom also. Or am I just so nauseaus that it is casuing increasd salivation? Uugghh, I wanna be a boy, lol!!

More clear discharge is completely normal on bc pills. I just use pantiliners - the extra thin ones, you never even know they are there. They even sell them for thongs too!
I am not sure how long ago you went back onto birth control, but generally for the first three months you can experience nausea, headaches, lots of different side effects. They usually go away after your body adjust to the hormones. Your tingling/sore nipples would be included in these side effects.
I have never heard of increased salivation though!

I re-started bc in the beginging of oct. When I first started bc when I was a teen I never had these problems.. Who knows maybe I am just getting old! Lol. But ya the salivation thing is kinda bothering me, and I have not seen it posted on web sites as a side effect of the pill.
I also use the pantyliners for thongs, thank gos for those or I would be doing a lotta laundry!

I have noticed today that there is another new symptom. My stomach muscles hurt just a little bit, almost as if I did a lot of crunches or something. So now I am really confused. I talked to my Dr. Today and he is taking me off necon 135 and starting me on ortho novum 135, which I don't understand cause it is the same pill??? But he told me to take a test in the am tomorrow anyway befor I go to the hospitol, so we will see, but I think it may be too early, but better to try then not and wonder and worry. Has anyone been on ortho nuvum?? Kelly j.
