I had a partial knee replacement on october 10, 2005. My doctor told me after the surgery that it was a success. He said in 2 months I should be fully recovered. It has been 4 months and 3 months of physical therapy and I do not feel fully recovered. I saw my physician twice since the surgery and he said to go back to physical therapy and I should be fine. My surgical knee doesn't feel strong. I can not stand in one position for more than a few minutes without pain. I can not sit for more than 30 minutes without pain. During physical therapy I do fine. I do well on the bike, I do good with the exercises, etc. It is just when I am out in the real world shopping, driving, walking that I do not feel I am doing well. I would like some feedback from others that have had this surgery and let me know how you are progressing.

Thanks,

sandy
