When was your period due? If your test was negative it suggest to me that it probably is your period.

Even if you've always been regular, it could still be your period just being early. Stress can affect your period by making it late or early.

It's possible that it's an early miscarriage but the only way to know for sure is to see your ob. Try not to worry about it until you know there's a reason to worry.
