Q: Cousin Marriage

I seriously need some professional advise on cousin marriage.

I am in love with my cousin sister. She is my aunt's daughter and my aunt is my dad's sister. Should we get married one day, is there any chances that our baby will be abnormal?

If you're blood related, which in your case you are, there is a chance that your baby will have mental or physical problems. I wouldn't advise getting sexually involved with a relative.

thanks for your reply...Really appreciate your advise......
I have come across some articles over the net that the chances to have a defect baby from cousin marriage is 0.5% higher than those non-blood related marriage babies... Do you have any idea on it? I ama not sure on the reliability... But the source is from a medical website from the states...
