just wondering why they say discard the test after 10 min. When I was pregnant with my third child I took a test and it said negative, but I saved the test ( its a long story) looked at it the next day and it said negative, when I went to throw it away 3 days later it had a faint line were it said positive. So I went out and bought a new test and I was pregnant!

That's crazy...I'm very happy for you!!! I am 28 weeks pregnant with my first child..I am 20 and engaged. This wasn't a planned pregnancy..But it wasn't unwanted. We found out that it's a little girl!!

I've heard of a pregnancy test result changing and to not rely on an old test...But I know that if my results would've changed like that..I would've def. Gone and tested again!!

All 4 of mine came out pos. I was just in denial!! Lol..That's why I kept buying them...I used a mid priced test first..Like the wal greens brand...Then I went to the dollar store and got the really cheap ones!! Lol...I was still in denial until the second I heard the heartbeat!!!!

Welcome to the board!!! Hopefully you have some useful experiences that can help us all!!!

Sarah

I need to clarify that was almost 8 years ago. We are now trying for #4 and I took a test and it said negative, and I looked at it an hour later and there is a very faint line, don't know if history is repeating itself. I am trying not to get to excited, I will retest tom.!
