Q: Small Bleeding After Hysterectomy
asked by: DoctorQuestion on February 4th, 2006
I am having a small amount of bleeding after a Hysterectomy 3 months ago. I have gone for 2 follow ups and the Dr cauterized the incision with Silver Nitrate vaginally twice. I still bleed a small amount should I let him cauterize again? Should I be duesching with something or rinsing with normal saline?

Hysterectomy Answer A371
It doesn't seem that a vaginal douche will complicate your condition. You will have to go to your gynecologist again to control vaginal bleeding.
