Stomach pain is typical for peptic ulcers; you aren't experiencing that symptom. Helicobacter pylori (bacterium) infection is a possible cause of peptic ulcers and should be treated in patients with gastric symptoms. It is not clear from your question whether or not you were experiencing a peptic ulcer. If you were, the gastroscopy would detect it. Vomiting and reflux can be caused by reasons (gastritis, hiatus hernia, cardial sphincter failure) other than a peptic ulcer. Relapses are possible if there wasn’t proper diagnosis or treatment at the time of illness.
