Q: How Long Must I Take Plavix?

A two year ago I have made a angioplastia whith 3 stents . After that, treatment whit PLAVIX . I ask you , how many years must to take this drug ? with thanks .

Plavix (clopidogrel) prevents arterial thrombosis by inhibiting thrombocyte aggregation. It is used for preventing heart attacks and strokes. As a preventive medicine, you should take this medicine the rest of your life.
