I had pink/brownish spotting 8 days after my period and it only lasted for one day. I asked if anyone knew what was going on but no one replyed so good luck!!

It has been two days since my period ended.

It is probably just your cycle finishing up. Do you know what point in the month you ovulate?

I think it is the end of the cycle and there are some residue blood left. The blood flow very slowly and hence it is brown in colour

Well, back when I used to bleed--many many moons ago--every once and awhile if my period was disturbed (by having sex before I was completely done, swimming, taking a bath too soon in my cycle--submerging in water)
then I would get the brown blood, it is like it slowed down so much, by the time it came out it was old blood. And I did have brown blood at the end of my post-pregnancy period too.
