I know this is gross you guys, so i'm sorry in advance. This afternoon I got up to use the restroom and when I wiped, I noticed a slimy, almost snot-like discharge. It was sort of light brown in color, maybe even a little pink. Do you think it was the mucus plug, or should I be worried? I shouldn't be having this baby for about 3 or 4 more weeks. How soon does labor start after you lose your mucus plug? I'm sort of concerned. I see the doctor on saturday though... But until then, what do you girls think?

The mucus plug can be dislodged by practice contractions so dont worry. If it wasnt a whole lot I would but it was just part of it when I lost mine the first time it was this big gob of bloody snot and it felt so wet that at first I thought my water had broken. Most of the time you dont go into labor for another week or two after you loose your plug according to my mommy book
