Q: Help Spotting And Condoms?

I have been on birth control for a month and by the second week I spotted everyday (i just had my period and right now am not spotting but am also on the last week of pills soon).
I was wondering if I am spotting do I need to use condoms?
I've been having unprotected sex since the second week of the pill since it never occurred to me that I might need condoms because my body is adjusted to the pill.
If anyone has this information, it would be extremely helpful.

I'm really not sure about the condoms, but when I started birth control I was on my period the entire first month, and it didn't stop until I started the second month of pills. It was awful...

I told the doctor and she said it was normal because my body was adjusting to the pills, but I would think they would still be effective...But that's just me, and i'm not a doctor...

Well thank god though that yours stopped the second pack. I am hoping it does for me too. I'm about to burn all my birth control and go back to condoms although my boyfriend would be quite upset :(

the bleeding did just stop right after my period. I have one placebo pill left. I am so scared that the bleeding will start again once i'm back on the active pills. I can't wear any lingerie and feel gross half the time cause i'm always bleeding. Birth control is horrible :(
