For those of you suffering from occasional to constant urinary track infections and/or kidney stones/infections. I would highly suggest taking cranberry supplement pills regularly. They have helped me sooo much; it's been years since I have had a bladder infection. You can pick them up almost anywhere (i.E. Internet, grocery, nutritional and pharmacy stores) there are hundreds of brands and should all work about the same. Just continue to drink plenty of water and also another side note for you women mainly; using the restroom to urinate after intercourse is a really good idea too!

Best regards to you all!

Good to know. I'm only 16, and I get kidney infections pretty often, and have been for just over a year now. I'm not even sexually active. And i'm also a very clean person, like I shower at least once a day and stuff, but my doctor just told me that sometimes people are more prone then others. She put me on a preventative for 6 months, but I stopped taking it because i'm also on birth control, and me and my boyfriend have been together for almost 9 months, (we haven't had sex, but who knows when we might) so basically I would rather have another kidney infection then get pregnant. But I guess the cranberry pills would be a good option for me, especially since I seem to get a kidney infection about once every 3 months. So thanks for that information :)

Lol that's funny, we have almost the same screenname, and in a different forum, I suggested azo cranberry pills to a pregnant woman with a uti.

As i'm sure you are aware of, if you do get another uti, the drug pyridium is a godsend, although the color change of the urine does take some time to get used to o_o...

I also hear that some people are sensitive to getting uti's if they drink alot of caffeinated beverages (tea, coffee, soda, etc.)
