Hi, i'm just wondering if you can get a birthcontrol perscription from a walk-in clinic (not like planned parenthood or anything, just a regular walk-in clinic) or if have to go to my doctor or a specialty clinic?

This is in canada, btw.

I know most docs require a pap smear and exam before giving pills, so I am not exactly sure if a walk in clinic will suit your needs. They may, so it would be a good idea to call and ask maybe :) I know different doctors and offices do different things, so call and ask :)

You will def need a pap smear unless you've had one in the last year. Im affraid of them so I tried every way to get around the pap smear but in nj they all require it first. You can try planned parenthood but I think they want the pap smear too

Yeah
U will need a pap smear to determine what type of contraceptive u will need, or the dosage. That's why it's not wise to use other people's prescription because everybody's different and everybody requires different doses.
