I am 25 years old. I have had one successful pregnancy. My daughter is now a year and a half. In september I had a miscarriage, and I recently learned that I am pregnant again. Because of my previous miscarriage, the doc has been monitoring my hcg levels every 28 hours. My first test done on friday was 3300, my second on sunday was 6045, and todays (tuesday) was just over 6500. I am scheduled to have another blood draw on thursday. What are the chances that this could still be a successful pregnancy? Also, is it common for someone to have a successful pregnancy and then fail at having another pregnancy again? I don't understand why my first pregnany was flawless and now I am having such trouble maintaining a healthy pregnancy. I don't believe that there has been any significant change in my life or health. Please advise.

A lot of women suffer at least one miscarriag ein their life (some don't even know though) there is no associating oyur first preg to this the next one or this one. I had 2 miscarriages before my son and I was monitered closely for the first tri of my preg.

I'm sure everything will be fine with this pregnancy.

Welcome!
