Q: Bleeding For 3 Weeks Now

Hi everyone,

since 1/10/06 I have had vaginal spotting (somedays a bit heavier), cramping, some clotting, pain in my lower back, headache, frequent urination and change in smell of urine. So I took a pregnancy test on 1/12, it was negative. The whole time I have been on my birth control pills, ortho-tri cyclen. I went to my gyno and he thought it could've been an early miscarriage, but he said the test would've come out positive (he also gave me one that came out negative). So he then gave me a new pill to take, estrostep, he thought the bleeding could be from not getting enough estrogen. Back in october, he changed my pill from ortho-lo to regular tri-cyclen because I was having some minor spotting. So now I have been taking this new pill for over a week now, he told me to take the week 3 pill since it is the strongest but I still have no change in the bleeding and symptoms.

Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

sheri
