Q: Low Income Housing

Hey does anyone in texas know about low income housing or section 8 housing. They arent doing the katrina vouchers any more and i'm a new orleans evacue. I've been trying for the longest to get some kind of help or direction and im getting no where. If anyone has any information. Im 17 and in my 6th month of pregnancy. Please help

This may or may not help but...

Here in fla we can go to the post office and get a list of the low income/section 8 housing. However, the only thing is...Your not 18 yet and unless you are planning on moving with an adult you can't sign a lease.

Also here in fla in the local phone book if you look under the government pages we can fine info about that too.

That is just how we did it her for my cousin a few months ago.

Dont' know if it helps.

It's b/s what's going on with fema. I'm back in new orleans and they are still slacking back here!! Bush surelt isn't helping much with that 1 min. Speach about how new orleans is back the way he remebers it!! Wow..I never knew total devastation was so familiar!!

Sorry honey I would have noooo idea about the housing in tx. But I know if it's hard here...It'll be harder in tx. Due to all of us having to go there.

Thanx you guys... And yes omg it is so hard with this hurricane crap. And screw bush put his ass in our situation and see if he is as giddy about whats going on. I'm hoping things fall threw for me. Thanx again everyone.
