I just came back from my dr, and he said I have vaginitis...I asked what it was and he said its just something you get when your a women....Really...Vaginitis.... Is only something women get...Lol anyways I still didnt know what it was so I looked it up on the net and it said that it is inflammation from a infection....K, my dr said nothing about an infection.....And he said that I could get a cream that could cure this vaginitis...What do I do....If I have an infection dont I need antibiotics(sp?) im so confused....

It sounds like you need a new doctor.

Sorry I don't have any real advice for you. Maybe go see a new doctor and see what they say?

Did he give you a perscription for anything??? I got bacterial vaginitis, and I got a really nasty tasting antibiotic, if he gave you a cream, it's probably a cream form of an antibiotic! But really dosn't really sound like that great of a doctor to me, was it a normal doc, or a gyno? I say find another doctor that will actually tell you what it is!

Thats weird. When I had bacterial vaginitis I was given an antibiotic for it and needed no cream or anything.

He is my family doc, I dont think he is a gyno..He is from south africa so he does things a little different...I got some pills to insert :oops: and have to do that for 10 days....I think they are the same pills for a yeast infection . So we shall see if it works..

i had vaginatis as well too .. Bacterial vaginonis and some other infection.. I was cyncial ill and idk but try gettin obgyn .. Family doc can actually help but obgyn detect more
