Hi there i'm trying to concieve and my doc has just put me on anti biotics because I have started having some pid (pelvic inflamatory disease) symptoms at this stage we dont know for sure that its pid but am taking antibiotics as a precaution. I ovulated about 4 days ago and am hoping that the antibiotics might work by then and that it may not affect my chances of concieving this month but does anybody know the likelyhood? I had an ultrasound last week that revealed one enlarged ovary but the report doesnt suggest its a cyst and the edrometrium appeared normal... The pain im having is a dull ache in the middle and slighly painful intercourse only in a certain position though..But before this type of pain started I have been having pains where my ovaries are and they felt like twinges and also a little like a dull stitch...Anyway my main questions are- can I still get pregnant and have pid ? And will the antibiotics clear most of it up just before or soon after implantation? My partner and I had intercourse on my fertile days and on one of those days I no 'flow back' whatsoever and I was wondering what they means if anything? Could it be that its all inside my uterus because I was ovulating??
