Hi,
the other day I realized that my left rib stuck out quite far.I felt it abit more n realized there are about 2 pea sized lumps on a sticking out bit of rib.Ever since then ive been finding lumps everywhere.Ive convinsed myself I have cancer and im gonna die,and I started having panic attacks over it but then I thought about it and told my self that loads of people die and ive got to die sometime (sounds horrible me saying that to myself lol)i told my freinds about it and asked them to feel the lump I found on my arm neck and sholder... They said they felt nothing and it just felt normal and six people said that.Could I be imagining these kind of things? And why? Because im a very positive person with my freinds im laid back, outgoing funny, loud just one of those kindof people but my freinds dont know wht im really like recently ive been really paranoid and I dont know why.Is there anychance I could be imagining this?

Xx

I could of swore I had a lump on my head...I started freaking out about it...Everyone said I don't feel anything, that was a couple months ago...I haven't been thinking abou it since...But I still keep thinking something is wrong w/ me...More than likely it's just in your head. But to ease your mind go to a doctor

If i've learned anything from being an anxiety case and a hypochondriac on top of it, it's that the body is lumpy and lopsided.

If you find a lump, but six other people don't see/feel it, I wouldn't worry. It probably just means you're making too much of a normal tissue texture. If you really become worried, or the lump grows or causes pain, go to the doctor. Only they can tell you for absolute sure.

I have done this many times I get paranoid over one thing and then literallyl the sky is falling I saw some real good advice above this post have someone else check it out and let them be the voice of reason, I just wanted to let you know I feel your pain and fear to let you know that there are others that suffer from those same kind of things

I've had many problems with anxiety and illness. I've had times when i've been sick and was convinced I had cancer or was terminally ill.
You can see a doctor.
What i've done is taught myself to stop thinking these thoughts and tell myself that i'm fine when I am sick.
You can start making yourself feel things or be sick. I'm sure you don't want that.
