As long as its caffeine free it's safe.

caffeene is fine too.

You are supposed to avoid caffeine. I
would use de-caf tea.

lipton is fine. You can have mint,
ginger, peppermint or annisette teas to
help calm morning sickness. You can
have caffeinated teas as long as you don't
go over the equivalent of 2 cups (16 oz)
of caffeinated coffee per day.
This article has a great list of caffeine
items and how much is ok.

There are studies that go both ways with
the caffeen intake. I have to have a
little to keep me going in the mornings.
Anything in moderation is ok. (asked my
ob about this too)

My doc said to avoid it. Do the whole
decaf thing. I really couldn't either
because I can't wake up so when I talked
about it with my doc, a single can of coke
is okay. But I still try not to do it
everyday because the studies on caffeine
are so inconclusive and I feel like my doc
wouldn't have initially told me not to if
it was really okay. But like I said in
an earlier post, we all do the best we
can. (this whole pregnancy thing has me
sooooo laid back! :d )

just an fyi chocolate contains caffeine
you dont need to avoid caffeine just limit
yourself to under 3 a day ppl who drank
4-6 cups of anything with caffeine the
first trimester were at higher risk of
miscarriage after that ur fine but 1-2 a
day wont hurt.
Dont stop living life because in reality
everything is bad during pregnancy the
trick is everything in moderation
i summarized the info above from "what to
expect while expecting" every dr I have
had didnt see an issue except with some
herbal teas
~good luck~

fyi...Not everyone eats chocolate, or
drinks coffee, tea or soda pop. Caffeine
studies are inconclusive at this time. I
was just telling her to be better safe
than sorry.
