Erections Problems
Posted: 01-30-06 05:50am

Alright, so heres the deal. I'm 18, and a virgin. My new girlfriend knows this and is fine with it (shes only been with 2 guys herself). The problem is, that everytime we get to the point where we're about to have sex, I totally lose my erection. I become extremely nervous, i.E. My heart starts beating really fast and I almost feel sick. This has happened like 5 times now and it's really starting to get to me. I want to lose my virginity to this girl but I literally can't seem to be able to do it. I have no problem maintaining an erection when she gives me oral at all. On a side note, it seems that my libido is really low compared to the typical 18 year old guy. I just don't seem to want it that much, and i've never had a wet dream in my entire life. I've never actually wanted sex with any girl that i've been with now that I think of it. I really like this girl, so it's not a lack of interest in her, it's a lack of interest in sex in general. This is starting to put stress on the relationship, and I really don't know who to ask about this...A doctor? A psychologist? Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated, as i'm realy not sure if it's a phisical problem or a mental thing.

Im in the same situation as you mate but I cant keep it up in any circumstance not even for oral.
I have some kind of psychological block in place it seems- I get really hard if we are having an intimate kissing session like on a date. Then we get back to mine and I take off my clothes and it goes.
I think it boils down now to me being nervous about not being able to get an erection and therefore not getting one. Damn you vicious circle!!
I going to see a doc about it this week. I think if I get viagra to help me out and get me past the first hurdle I will be ok...
Gud luck with ur problem

Its deffo a psychological thing. Most prolly doc will tell us to talk about problem with the girl etc and just keep trying lol. Not sure how much viagra will help cos its not physical problem its our aroused states being switched off by anxiety. Which is a normal reaction cos u dont wanna be horny and anxious, like when being chased by a sabretooth tiger (in human history of course...)

Viagra Does Not Help
Posted: 02-01-06 17:01pm

My husband who is 56 years old and is excellent health has gradually lost his ability to keep an erection. The doctor has ran tests and put him on viagra. This seemed to help for a while and then it didn't work. He has tried several other medications and nothing works. He cannot stay hard long enough to have an erection. What is the next step? Is this physological or medical?

at 56 your pretty much reaching that limit. I'd hate to say it but even if something does work it'll only be for a short while. Your husband is just getting old and issues like these are just a fact of life at that age.
Also
i don't understand your second question. Physiological is medical.
