Hi Kym21000

Thanks for maiking me feel like I am not crazy. I know other people have this feeling and it is horrible.I called my dr today and she called me back and suggested a xanax. That really annoyed me! I am not depressed or stresed. I am uncomfortably dizzy. I have an appt to see her but am not hopefully. Am going to ask for an MRI. Have beed treated for trigemol neuralga a few years ago and am wondering if that could be part of it.Also have been told that I have prolonged rebound migraines. It's a shame that we have to try to diagnose ourselves, Dr's just think we are depressed. Please if anyone has any suggestions on how to ease this foggy feeling let me know. Good Luck. I really hope you feel better soon.

Hi,

I have developed the exact same condition over the past 18 months or so, and because it was originally just a mild fizzyness, I put it down to my couple of double esspresos i had each morning. Over the last few months, I noticed that it had got worse, and whilst not in the category of a headache, it was uncomfortable and making me quite anxious. 3 weeks ago, went to the doctors and he diagnosed "Migrainous Neuralgia"(mild migrain). I am a fit 48 year old and had very rarely suffered from headcahes so could not understand why this condition had developed. Somebody at work then pointed out the effect "Aspartame" can have on you brain. I am now into the third week of no diet drinks whatsoever, or anything else containing sweetners. I have been drinking water and natural fruit juices and am taking a multivitamin per day. Whilst not totally gone, I have certainly experienced a marked improvenment. I did read that Aspartame can take up to 60 days to get out of your system, so I am hopeful of further improvements.

Hope this will help someone else out there.

Daily headaches with fuzzy/dizziness
I suffer from daily headaches since October and they cannot find out why. The last couple of months I have had the dizzy/fuzzy feeling - almost like blacking out at times. Some times a quick flash or movement brings the feeling on stronger. I just want to role my eyes up and pass out. I've had alot of test done and they have absolutly no answers for me. Need help. Don't know how long I can live like this.

This is the first time I have followed a line of posts that reflect the feelings I have. I describe my self as having a restriction around the back of my neck that reaches up to the back of my head and above my hairline seems to gently throb, my head/scalp seems to flush with a tingling sensation on or below the surface, my head feels like it is swimming and things a re in slow motion, mild headache, dizzines, like hangover more annoyance at prolonged conditions. Also feels like eyestrain increases the sensations. I started this recently in 09 spring time, I am 45 yr old male, been physical all my days working outside in all weathers, is it arthritis linked? Just wish it would go....

Are vitamins free of side-effects?
This is now three months later and I have some positive news, mixed together with a warning that you may struggle to believe.
I have stuck to my discipline of not drinking or eating anything with aspartame in it. This has meant most "0 fat", "no added sugar" or any "diet" products.
What was an unpleasant burning fizzy fuzzy feeling, has slowly improved to what is now a very mild and bearable slight fizz, a few times a day.
The warning!
I had since June, been taking at least one high strength, multivitamin per day, which I took in the belief that they were assisting the detox. About a month ago, I noticed a pounding and tightness in my head that was seriously affecting my sleep. I went back to the doctors and they found that my blood pressure and pulse rate had shot up. But, they just did not believe that there was a physical problem and three weeks ago, gave me amitriptyline which is a mild anti-depressant, which is known to help with headaches. Whilst it did give me back some sleep, it did nothing for the blood pressure problem. I asked for further investigations and they said that under NHS, I would have to wait 3-4 months!
I was forced to go private and am awaiting a CT scan which should be done within a week or so.
A week ago, I stopped the vitamins, and the amatriptyline and lo and behold within two days, the blood pressure and tightening within the head showed a marked improvement, giving me back normal sleep without any foreign substances in my body.
I will continue to keep you posted on progress, in the hope that it may assists somebody else out there.

Dizzy, Fuzzy, Lightheaded feeling
I am so glad to see others are having this problem also and to know now that I am not going crazy. I have had this feeling of light headedness, foggy-dizzy feeling for at least 5 years or so and all doctors tell me it is depression, which I can bring myself to believe. I had thyroid cancer 6 yrs ago and had a total thyroidectomy and haven't felt good since. I have called my Endocrinologist many times about this and my TSH levels, but he always tells me that is not what the problem is. I need some relief from this feeling before it does drive be insane. Can anyone give me some advice what else I can do?

dysautonomia
I have slowly developed fuzzy/dizzy/lightheadedness daily over the last 10 months after having a viral infection.I get extreme nausea after prolonged physical exertion.I have to spend days at a time in bed with fatigue and wanting to throw up just by the movement of talking.
I cannnot tolerate alcohol any more either.I have been told by 2 doctors it is dysautonomia as it affects my digestive system among other things too. Good to know but also told that there are no specialists that deal with it. I now have no idea what to do or where to go. I have now started with chest pain and numbness in left arm with pain going through to neck and shoulder blades. When I do feel ok which is rare I daren't go out alone in case I "crash" again. I was a very active 52 years old lady with lots to do in life but i am now very restricted. I f anyone knows a "dysautonomia "doctor please let me know. I think there ear thousands of people with this problim and they don't know it.

23year old fit woman experiencing the same fuzzy sensation
i have the same symptoms as all of you have discussed, im heading to the doctor tomorrow to check it out, i havn't been to the doctor for about 10years so this is kind of a big deal. I'm a pretty fit 23year old girl who eats meat maybe once a fortnight, and avoids most artificial colors and sweeteners. I try to eat organic when i can, so i don't think it has anything to do with chemicals in my food. 3years ago i tried Magic Mushrooms and although pretty amazing, the next day and maybe 2weeks after that i felt what i'm feeling now, sort of fuzzy in the back of the head, unable to interact with people like i usually do, and finding it really hard to concentrate. it goes away when i am doing physical activity and when i try to not think about it, but then it comes back. i hate it, i feel like it is effecting my relationship with my boyfriend, friends and family.
i'll let you know what the doctor says, but this forum has been very helpful to know about before i go,
smiles

em,
I also have experienced very similar things. I tried acid last october and since then I have been experienceing these symptoms. that was the first time I tried it and it will be the last. my friends use acid alot and have done ti multiple times. they have not experienced any of these symptoms which makes me beleive it is not the after effects of the drug. I do understand when you say you have trouble concentrating and interacting with people. I almost feel a disconnect with normal life. its really depressing and caused me to have horrible anxiety. but I do have good news.it has been four months now since my experience with acid and my symptoms have decreased alot. every once in a while I'll begin to feel how I use to and i just have to tell myself its nothing. (i have been to multiple doctors and a neurologist who have all told em im fine.) If you had a bad trip (which i did) it may just be your body still reacting to a traumatizing experience. good luck hope that makes you feel better

I had similar thing for 2 weeks, tried prescribed cyclizine pils, but unsuccessfully. The problem was in the spinal cord, there was some tension in-between neck & shoulders area, that was triggered by beer somehow (this is well known thing). There is something about beer that can do this to bones, anyway all you need to do is to put a heat patch on top of that area and wait until everything normalises.

i searched these symptoms and this came up- some of them seem to match mine. i have been suffering from mild anxiety recently but the fuzzy headaches go back years!
i can compare them best to a feeling i used to get when i was about 9 or 10 and have these strange "night terrors" where i would wake up having a panic attack, and i'd appear awake but i could rarely remember them in the morning unless i woke up during it. I can remember the feeling from when i woke up and my fuzzy headed feeling feels abit like that. Its hard to explain but its like a feeling that everything is moving really fast in my head and music sounds very strange and distorted. It feels almost panicky and my heart starts racing and i get sweaty. I feel confused too. But they go away after about ten minutes usually. Ive had them for a number of years and they used to really freak me out when i was younger, but now I feel like i have to stop still and take deep breaths til it goes away.

Fuzzy feeling in the back of head
hey I'm 17 and have a fuzzy feeling in the back of my head. its gotten in the way of a lot of things, like socialization... that might sound weird but seriously its like trying to think threw an impenetrable cloud! my focus is off and speech is a little off too. sometimes it makes me stop mid sentence to recollect my thoughts, that has never happened before except for this past year and it scares me so much. sometimes it feels like there is just a cloud in the back of my head and other times it feels like someone scooped it out. lately iv been feeling that there is something wrong with me mentally. to those who posted possible salutations thank you so much they at least gave me an idea of what to talk to the doctors about. next chance i have i will get blood-work done to check the iron and ask about Orthostatic Hypotension along with depersonalization. thanks again!

Headaches & fuzzy head
Possibly many of you have a trapped nerve caused my misalignment of your neck or back.

Things that have worked for me include:

Not believing it's anxiety.
Getting eye tests to rule out vision issues.
Heat packs
Chiro
Massage

Taking coedine & paracetomal combo with lots of food
Time (months - not days or weeks)
Steroid injection to trapped nerve (from doctor)
Podiatrist (orthotics to straighten me up - treat cause of wonkiness possibly causing problem) Currently waiting for these so not tried and tested, but theory is very sound.

Tingling/Numbing Sensation Right Side of Head.
These posts are the closest to what I'm experiencing as well. About three weeks ago I had weddings on back to back weekends and drank more than I usually do. After the last wedding I had a horrible fuzzy/burning/tingling sensation in my head for about four days. It felt like something moved around and then I got better the day I went to the doctor. He said it was some variation of a migraine, and then for the past two weeks i've just had a mild tingling or numb-like sensation on the right side of my head above my ear? I have no idea what it is and althought it's better, it definitely is not gone, which concerns me! Any suggestions?

There are many reasons for fuzzy, burning, and tingling sensations, and 90% of the time the medical fraternity has no idea what is causing it.

Two decades back, that is, 20 years ago, this wasn’t a common problem. I suffered intermittanly the same for four decades and went back and forth to the medicos and after multitude of blood tests and x-rays, and specialist’s visits, they all shook their heads and basically said they had no idea what was causing these symtpoms, and that I was in perfect health, all tests were perfect.

They did suggest all wonderful ideas that could be causing these symptoms, and the migraine diagnosis was always a good answer. They also suggested to change my eating and drinking habits, and my diet, etc., etc., and they recommended all sorts of holistic remedies, such as acipuncture, naturopathic, and all new age gimmicks; but to no avail.

In those days I lived near high voltage transmission lines, say 40,000 volts, they were such a high voltage that you could stand underneath them with a fluro tube and the tube would turn “ON” and glow---smokes and mirrors.

Off course if you explained this to those who should interested in such happenings, they would label you with a mental disorder. But, most of them to believe that many of the medical regognised syndromes, are nerve related. Therefore, if an emission coming out of power lines ignites the fluro in a fluro tube, then what can it do to your nerve ends, and nervous system?

When cell phones and towers became the essential essence of human life, and the airways were proliferated with every conceivable microwave emissions that are the same as a microwave over, but at a lower wattage, I then began to notice that my symptoms began to become worse. It wasn’t until 2002 that I proved that EMR and EMF was causing my symptoms.

We are bathed continually in an invisible force called EMR and EMF, and have been for every since electricity first came in. In my days, if I was at weddings, as in your case, every weekend, then yes, I would suffer the affects of alcoholic poisoning. But normally if it’s only mild alcoholism then you should get over the symptoms in a day or so, and it’s not prolonged.

But, in your course of events, you were probably surrounded by every cell phone that was carried in everyone else’s pockets, and purses, inlcuding your own, and after a long-term and prolonged immerson of EMR and EMF that is coming out of those electronic equipments, you will have side affects. Prolonged suffering, as what you are suffering from is part and parcel of EMR and EMF.

Are you a long-term, prolong user of the cell phone and any other form of cordless phone in your home; because when EMR and EMF is involved, and you are still being immersed in this invisible force, then your suffering will be prolonged.

For no apparent reason:

Do you get ringing in the ears?

Do you feel tired all the time?

Do you feel nausea all the time?

Do you feel burning and tingling sensations all the time?

Do you get headaches?

Do you have restless nights trying to sleep?

Most of these general symptoms are the same for radio/wireless sensitivity sickness, including Sick Building Syndrome and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

I hope I haven’t bored you with too much information, but you need to be aware of the dangers of long-term, and prolonged use of any form of Wi Fi communications equipment is dangerous to your wellbeing.
