Someone please help me. I am terrified to
death that I may be pregnant. I just
turned 17 and here is the situation:
i had sex for my first time ever on
january 1 of this year. I didn't really
know the guy other than having hung out
with him a couple of times, so I don't
know his disease history or anything, and
I can't contact him now. We used a condom
but i'm not on birth control. We didn't
use lubrication. When we were done he
threw away the condom (i could see all the
semen in it) and we cuddled, but I made
sure my vagina didn't touch his penis in
case he still had some on it. I got my
period two weeks later, on january 14,
which is right around when I expected it
(i have a really irregular period so
there's no definite time). This means
that when we had sex I was ovulating, and
at my most fertile time. My period seemed
maybe a little bit lighter than normal,
but if I hadn't been scared of being
pregnant, I might not have noticed a
difference.
These past couple of days, I have been
really panicked. I feel like i've noticed
a couple signs of pregnancy--- appetite
decreased rapidly, i'm tired a lot,
sometimes get small pains in my stomach,
feeling bloated--- but these might be
because i'm pretty stressed out with
school and i'm also so nervous I trick
myself into thinking I have them.
What is my likelihood of being pregnant?
I'm going to take an at-home test in a
couple of days but I want to know my
chances. Also, could I have contracted
aids (if he had it)?

You said he had a condom on....That means
that if it was one the whole time then
chances are pretty unlikely that you could
be pregnant. I went through the same
thing with the whole stress issue and
thinking that I was pregnant....And I had
the same symptoms. I was on birth control
and everything but I was still
terrified...What you need to do is take a
test. But really hun I think you're fine
as long as the condom was on the whole
time and all these symptoms are from

stress jus try not to think about it and

Everything is a 50/50 when having sex
you are more thna likely not pregnant ( I
would still do the test though) although
what got me is you dont know his history
hun you have to be becarful I know this
sounds corny but I wouldnt have sex with
someone till both of us got tested.
Just another tidbit if your going to be
having sex get checked on a monthly basis
for stds just to be safe cause some can
cause damage

conversation to the guy you've been seein
for maybe a week or so 'hey will u get a
hiv test plz' ..I mean hes going to be
offended or angry..... :/ has anyone
asked their boyfriend to do this? How did
he react?

i didnt get my ex to do a hiv test, he'd
probably be mad and break up with me!
Isnt it safer though? I dunno how to
bring it up!
