I just want to know what contractions feel
like i've heard that they feel like 3
times worse than cramps, and they feel
like you are constipated I just want to
know from the mothers where the
contratctions start and how they feel.

Im glad I can answer that one, braxton
hicks are in your 8 month of pregnancy,
and they are false contractions, and I
know it can be a little confusing with
real labor, but when your in real labor
you have eaither lower back pain and your
stomach inflates itsself like every 5
minutes, when I knew I was in real labor,
it woke me up out my sleep, my front and
my lower back was hurting as well, so
your water doe not nesesarily have to
break eaither, I had to be induced, and is
far as labor goes they will take good care
of you, and you will have a choice to have
a epedural too, so you will not feel any
pain , trust me, they can cut your leg off
and you wont feel a thing withwith a
epidural. Youll be just fine.

I love how on tv (yes, I know not to base
real life off tv, but still...) they say
"you'll know it's real labor and not a
false alarm because a baby will come
out."
uh... Yes, but by then, won't it be a
little late to decide to come to the
hospital? :p

Contractions feel like period cramps in
the beginning and work themselves up from
there, they are painful I wont lie but is
up to you and your pain tolerance on how
you deal with them. When they start
getting closer together you will notice a
peak(most painful part) thats last most of
the contraction.
With this pregnancy I have been going into
false labor alot and it feels different
this time I keep feeling like I need to
use the bathroom/with lower back pain but
I havent had the baby yet so I cant sa if
it reall will be different.
I went natural with my first and survived
it, this time around I may want meds but I
am going to try to go natural again,
having a support person makes a huge
difference I found I could deal with the
pain better having support from my husband
and mother even though they didnt do much
they helped me..
