Q: 7 Week Swelling of Tonsils!

This morning I have blisters on my right tonsil and can hardly swallow. My tonsils have been swollen since early december, the doctor prescribed penicillin but the symptoms took at least two weeks to go. The sore throat reappeared suddenly on the 5th of january, the doctor prescribed penicillin again and took a throat swab which proved negative, so the disease was not bacterial. I recovered more quickly this time, but had a blood test to test for eb virus, which was again negative. All three times my throat has been close to closing up and I almost couldnt swallow; the tonsils are very swollen and never really went down since the 1st occurence. This morning, the right tonsil is pushing my uvula to one side, and there is hardly any passage imbetween my tonsils. As it is a saturday today, I cant see a doctor until monday, any advice would be really appreciated, thanks, felix.
