I don't think it matters.Do you sweat a lot?What do you eat,maybe thats the problem?

I found this question whilst looking for an answer myself.
I too have a very salty taste on my lips. I haven't changed my diet and have not always had this.
Is there a reason or cause please?

I get salty taste from red onions which I love some much. I transpire the odor and salty taste of red onion within minutes to the surface of my skin and lips. Yuck! but i can only not eat them to change that.
