Good News!!!!! It Worked
Posted: 01-28-06 06:08am

I took the test this morning and in less than 30 seconds I saw a double line. It was quick and dark. My husband and I are sooooo happy! We have been trying for almost a year. I was beginning to think something might be wrong with me. Whoever said "stop trying" was right! My husband and I were getting on each others nerves with the scheduled sex days. So we had a talk and actually, we slowed things down, and made sex romantic again. Actually we only had sex twice this month. One time 2 days before ovulation and another time the day I ovulated. Thank g_d it worked. We are so excited we can't go back to sleep! G_d bless you all! Thank you for all the support. I will still be on the site chatting, so write me sometime

Congrats! You must be so excited. I'm jealous (but in a good natured way, I know my time will come). Make sure you take of yourself. Best of luck to you and your husband!

Posted: 02-01-06 09:03am

My husband and I have been trying for almost a year. And just when we were at our wits end.... Bam!!! We got pregnant. I've been there, I know it's a long and sad waiting game. But your day will come and when it does, I want you to let us know. Shout it our to the world!!!!

We go for our first appointment on friday, to make sure everything is alright and to check how far along we are in this pregnancy.

Good luck and have faith!!!

What Worked For Me!!!
Posted: 02-04-06 17:13pm

My husband and I have been trying for almost a year. We have been on an emotional roller coaster ride. We decided to slow things down, and instead of have sex every day, we only had sex twice, once 2 days before I ovulated, and another time the day of ovulation. Also, we used a pillow under my waist to keep pelvis elevated. Oh and I took warm showers before we had sex (not him, I heard the man should not take a warm shower before sex because the change in temperture can lower his sperm count). I don't know if any of this worked, but it was something different that we didn't try before. And we are 4 weeks pregnant, so something worked!

I hope these suggestions help!

Good luck

Congratulations on your success!! I hope all goes well with your pregnancy. I just started ttc so I hope I have luck soon. Its just hard because I work full time and go to nursing school part time and just got married lol. I'm just gonna relax and not stress like you said and hopefully it will work. :)

I Understand

Smurfgirl, my husband and I have totally different work schedules, by the time I get home he is asleep he has to wake up at 4:30 in the morning, and I get home at 10:00 at night. So it was kinda hard getting some quality time in. Well good luck to you. The ovulation calendar helped especially if you are busy and you don't have time to guess.

Good luck!
