My wife has been diagonised with dm2 and has a figure of 6% on the three month average sugar test. Every day she has these hunger pangs as soon as bowel habits.. What would be likely cause and remedy if any..

First of all excessive hunger is a sign of diabeties.

Secondly when she takes her meds or insulin, the body needs foods within 30 minutes(in most cases) to counteract what the insulin is now doing in her body. It makes you hungry at the time, the insulin is doing this in her body. When I take insulin I am so hungry--unless I make sure to eat within 30 minutes. I also take snacks every 3 hours all day either meal or snack.

Stay Away From Wheat Products

Don't take my word for it - try a day without any wheat.
See how you feel - and check your sugars.
Low sugars will make you very hungry.
If you need to raise your bloodsugar, drink a little
100% orange juice, not sweets.
.
Dairy is another bad one - but wheat is the worst
for diabetics.
.
Don't believe me - just experiment.
And highly recommend reading eat right 4 your blood type.
.
Doctors are helpful - but I found greater help from reading
some good health books and consulting with alternative
med doctors. You have to watch and compare, but in the
end, you will feel better and be healthier. Good luck, bill11931
