How much weight should one gain in there second trimester?

I hear that in your 1st trimester expect a 3 1/2 - 5 pound gain.

Im a little wrryed about my weight im just over 24 weeks and have only gaind 5 pounds.

Should I talk to my doctore about it cuz I keep going bettween 128 and 136 on a week to week base.

Whats going on?

I'm not sure how much you should gain but my doc yelled at me for not gaining enough when I went into the second trimester. But I changed my whole way of eating and then I gained 15 pounds (overall) and now she's really happy. I guess you should just talk to your doc.

Weight is different for everyone. I agree with tigress. Just talk to you Dr. And see what they say.

I've gained a sufficient amount of weight :? ..If ya know what I mean..Lol..But it's a health amount. I'm just not used to it yet!! Every mirror I pass..It makes me want to cry! Lol...It's not that bad though..I'm just trying to cope with it.

Dr. Appt..
I go to my Dr. Bright and early as well tomorrow. I'm getting my 2nd ultrasound for gender determination. The Dr. Said he sees a package and feels that it's a boy...But I want to be positive!!! Lol...

Hopefully I didn't gain tooo much weight. Lol...I'm only 27 weeks and I look like a good 37. At my last appointment I had gained another 12 lbs. But he wasn't concerned about it at all. He didn't even mention it. I was waaay underweight when I conceived though..And I had to have a talk with him about that. If 125 had been my normal weight...Then I would've already gained the 30 that i'm alloted!! Yikes...It's crazy...

I'm now starting to see like knees or elbows in my belly. Last night I got my 1st kick in the ribs. It wasn't painful...Just interesting to say the least!!

This is all sooo exciting!!!
