No Period... 3-4months
Posted: 01-28-06 00:45am

My girlfriend has not had her period now since either late september or october of 2005. I am worried that she may be pregnant, but she should show some signs other than no period by now right? She has taken 5 home pregnancy tests, and all of them have been negative.

We always use condoms, and hardly have sex, because we are afraid of the consenquences. She has no discomfert in her vaginal area. She has had a couple yeast infections in this time period. She smokes cigarettes

she doesnt want to talk to her parents about it because they are very old fashioned, and will just get mad instead of taking her to the doctor.

What could it be?

Thank you for your help.

Even if shes not pregnant she needs to see a doctor no period for that long could be sign of a serious internal problem

Has she been doing anything different with her diet/exercise? Just a question, because losing/gaining weight can affect a cycle.

nope nothing different, she has been doing everything as normal. She has put on maybe 5 lbs cause of the holiday constant eating but other than that shes back to normal since the first of the year. She eats normal. Acts normal. Shes taken 5 hpt's and all are negative. Are any better than others? Wierd though that every monday she wakes up with a headache.. And its only on mondays... That could be lack of sleep throughout the weekend though I would suppose.

Okay planned parenthood would be able to help her no parental consent is needed, and they will see her for pretty low cost. Please get her to a doctor.

Has she been to the doctors? What did they say?
She could be ill , its not nomal to not have your period for that long and not be pregnant/anorexic, does she not have them at all? Or does she have mini periods? If she has light periods then that' fine I think because some girls only bleed for like 2-3 days a month and very lightly, im sure shell b fine;) bye

i dunno, she says she hasnt had one since beginning of october. Its now february. Wouldnt she show anything by now? Any signs? Other than no period. She has been spotting a little the last couple of days. She wont call planned parenthood because of her constant working, but I am making her call today!
